SINGAPORE, 23 October 2020 – MyDoc members now have more convenient access to Singapore’s largest network of general practitioners (GP).
MyDoc, a B2B digital healthcare company, recently expanded its partnership with IHP, a managed healthcare services provider catering to corporations in Singapore. Under the new agreement, MyDoc users can now access IHP’s panel of over 1000 clinics directly from the MyDoc app.
Demand for telehealth services is increasing amongst the working population across Singapore. In fact, since the beginning of 2020, MyDoc has seen its user base increase by over 160 percent.
By partnering with IHP, patients can get hassle-free referrals to Singapore’s largest network of GPs. If a condition is deemed unsuitable for online consultation, patients can book a face to face appointment with a Singapore licenced doctor directly from MyDoc’s app.
Any MyDoc users whose employee benefits program uses IHP’s panel of healthcare services will also enjoy cashless settlement via the IHP claims administration portal when using MyDoc’s telemedicine services. MyDoc’s telehealth services brings not only convenience to patients, but also ensures that patients are not exposed to unnecessary risks when waiting in the doctor’s practice.
IHP has been a key partner in the MyDoc ecosystem since 2012, helping to power MyDoc’s integrated online-to-offline ecosystem. The new agreement ensures a seamless transition from online care to offline care and back online, where patients are cared for every step of the way.
Clients who are under the IHP panel arrangement or use IHP as their flex program TPA can opt to turn on this service immediately. Previously, IHP has partnered with MyDoc and HPB to provide workplace wellness programmes to SMEs across Singapore.
